The Sunset Paradox: Bringing Nightlife to Daytime

There is no off-season at Sunset Bar & Grill! The third High Tide Beach Party was enjoyed by a healthy crowd, partying to the performances of St. Maarten's best known DJs (DJ Bossman - Soggy Dollar, DJ EM - Sunset, DJ Outcast - Bliss, DJ Mr. Perfect - Bliss and DJ Yann Shaa - 747 Nightclub). These Sunday afternoon parties – the recent one on June 2nd – have become a fixture on the island's party circuit, bringing nightlife fun to the beach. The contest for the Sexiest Bikini Girl and the Sexiest Beach Hunk energized the crowd and many tried to win the cash money or the GoPro camera – all provided by the Caribbean Camera Center.

Every year, the local residents of St-Maarten are polled by our leading newspaper to rate their favorite restaurants, bars and shops. These are the people who know where to find the most fun, the best value, the tastiest food on St Maarten. That's why we feel especially proud that we have been voted again to be the island's #1 beach bar.

Airplane spotters have a new reason to come to Sunset Bar & Grill: It is no 747 carrying now the Sunset Bar & Grill logo, but its a plane nevertheless. The Cessna 172, which is now sporting the Sunset B&G colors, is stationed right here in St. Maarten and operated by an aviation school.
